Not going to be Helldivers. It's launching with a 10% PS+ discount and that's it.

I don't generally respond to people like you but TFLOPS are theoretical. X1 (That's tegra X1 fyi) is 0.5 tlops and PS4 is 1.8. Regardless I will give up gaming altogether than deal with touchscreen crap.
Can't be knack. /Story
First off my opinion is that it is a terrible game. I could make a whole rant on why I think so, but that is beside the point.
If you think it's hard try playing TLoU on Grounded difficulty. You will think TEW was a kiddy game.
I'm not willing to support or criticize this tech until I see it. My question is what happened if your internet goes out. Does the game just stop working or is it dumbed down?
Shadow of Mordor is what you want. First "next gen" game I have played.
Except ESO is not on 360/PS3 so it doesn't count as that gen.
@lipton
Check out 99gamers.com. I got tired of low trade ins and have been using that. Sold a bunch of old PS3 games and got Sherlock holmes and Black flag for nothing virtually.
Off topic: I don't see the point of promising 10 years of content if you're going to release a $30 expansion pack every 4 months. I can save that money and buy 15 full retail titles in those 10 years.
The Only, ONLY reason to do this is fear. Fear that someone will try it out and decide they won't want to buy the game. Whether due to poor performance of Shareplay (which is very dependent on network performance) or they think the game is poor quality (which doesn't seem to be the case although I haven't played) I couldn't tell you.
edit: but then again it is Activision so who the hell knows.
I think it's just a marketing thing nowadays. If you say BETA for game X then people think the game is basically done and you are hammering out any network issues and little things. Whereas if you say it's an ALPHA then people will say "but it's teh alpha. it's supposed to be broken" like with the recent EVOLVE which launches in only a few months so calling it Alpha is laughable.
I say bring it on. I've played open world but never really liked it more or less than other genres. But since getting my PS4 in July I've platinumed both inFAMOUS and Watch_Dogs. Almost done with Shadow of Mordor, working on ACIV Black Flag. And probably gonna get GTAV. I think the worlds are just more engaging and devs are able to push more little things that add to the immersion.
You can't patch textures. Those are on the disc.
That would be very impressive actually. Considering the game is not on those platforms...
Just buy whatever you want and take it to walmart in a couple weeks to exchange.
And as a gamer I care about sales because...? I swear people around here throw around sales figures like their livelihood depends on it, it's so bizarre. And if you liked it good for you, we just have different tastes. Nobody is right or wrong.
It's got nothing on Alien. I don't like 1st person or horror, but that game is TENSE.
I have to disagree with you, because this is taking the Shadow of Mordor route instead of the Call of Duty route.
I'll explain. Shadow of Mordor was DESIGNED for PS4/X1/PC. Then it was downgraded and ported by another studio for PS360. This resulted in a product that was much worse in many ways.
Keep in mind I'm using COD as an example, I'm not 100% confident in my info, but there are many games like this.
COD was developed around...
